About

Welcome!

Here is a blog that doesn’t quite have such an intense purpose except that whatever is going on in my head will eventually come here. In such a fast-paced job, I’ve found it hard to accurately describe what it is that I’m learning, processing or even what is happening in my ministry. Writing (or talking in my head) seems to be the best way for me to communicate all that God is doing in my life personally and through me.

Here is a blog to share thoughts, ideas, and dreams that I’ve reflected or been impressed with and to explore the idea of a Spirit-led life.

Bits about me are as follows
  • I'm a Canadian that gained an unexpected heart for the UK
  • I like books, cats and running.
  • Jesus is the reason I'm alive. If you're wondering why, ask. I'd love to tell you my story.
  • Traveling is my dream and I've been to 27 countries in my twenty-one years.
  • A good day means hiking, sleeping, coffee and organizing.

The past few years, I’ve been staffing YWAM’s entry level school; the ‘Discipleship Training School’ (DTS). A DTS is designed to help others understand God more deeply, learning to live more like Jesus and using their gifts and talents to reach out to others. The heart of the DTS explains the heart of YWAM:

We want to see young people know God, be transformed by his nature and character and then go to the nations with the good news. (If you would like to know more about YWAM and what we do around the world, look to the right and click on the banner)

So far, my work with YWAM has allowed me to work with people groups in Ethiopia, Rwanda, Spain, Germany, France, Romania, Albania and every part of the United Kingdom. My greatest desire is that the nations would know God personally, and then seek to make Him known in every area of society. My heart for restoration often comes across in what I do; to see countries, communities, families and individuals strengthened in light of who God is and who He made them to be.

Here is a blog to get connected. If you have any questions, please let me know.
